LiquidMetal’s New Manufacturing Facility

This is the new 71,000 square foot manufacturing facility can hold up to 40 high speed Eontec metal injection molding machines. Prof. Li built Eontec from the ground up, divested it to buy into Liquidmetal, and is now in charge of this new manufacturing facility as well as the LiquidMetal COB. It’s one thing to license IP and use a contract manufacturer for your products, and it’s an entirely different ball game when you are making your own products. I think this is the biggest news in years and certainly is a harbinger of good things to come. Please read the PR below for the details.

I’ve been trying to let you all know about this company to follow it, so please search back and read my other recent posts. It closed yesterday under 15 cents. They have $30MM is assets and no debt. Keep in mind that it is rumored that LiquidMetal is used for the new iPhone fold hinge, and Apple has been working with Liquidmetal and has an agreement to use its IP (Crucible LLC - also owned by Liquidmetal). The CEO of LiquidMetal also stated in his last conference that they had prototyped a credit card for a major company, and they have been working with medical and the music industry.
